Some guidelines, though simple, are powerful for us to make insightful decisions in achieving higher return. We seek companies with unique innovative technology that have a sustainable competitive advantage to dominate fundamentally important emerging market by offering highly differentiated, demonstrably superior products and services. We select companies with first-to-market advantage and mega market ?companies with the ambition to create and lead new categories. We also emphasize on the execution ability of management team. We are looking for entrepreneurs with a clear vision of the business they want to build, as well as extensive understanding and experience of the market space they are addressing. Entrepreneurs must have leadership and team-building skills, including a talent for communicating their ideas and for inspiring others with their vision. We also look carefully on the companies?financial projection—to check if the financial numbers are rational and explicitly describe the assumptions supporting the model.
